Vettel Ends on a High in Record-Breaking Season

Last weekend saw Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel claim a record-equalling ninth consecutive race win at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Having already secured this season’s title, Vettel has been an unstoppable presence on the track all season.

In Mark Webber’s final ever race, the Australian finished third ahead of Fernando Alonso to cap off a successful season. Once again, this has been Red Bull’s season but Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren will be vying to return to form.

McLaren have had a particularly disappointing season, failing to get close to the Drivers’ or Constructors’ World Championship titles and recording no podium finishes.

Johnny has enjoyed another great F1 season, particularly all the work he has done with Sky Sports. He said: “It’s been a privilege to have been a part of the coverage this season and what a championship it has been. Vettel is a special driver and Red Bull have enjoyed another dominant season; the other teams will have to go away and do some serious work to catch up.”
